श्लोक 5.3.1
एष प्रजापतिर्यद्धृदयमेतद्ब्रह्मैतत्सर्वम् ।तदेतत्त्र्यक्षरँ हृदयमिति ।हृ इत्येकमक्षरमभिहरन्त्यस्मै स्वाश्चान्ये च य एवं वेद ।द इत्येकमक्षरं ददत्यस्मै स्वाश्चान्ये च य एवं वेद ।यमित्येकमक्षरमेति स्वर्गं लोकं य एवं वेद
eṣa prajāpatiryaddhṛdayametadbrahmaitatsarvam | tadetattryakṣaram̐ hṛdayamiti | hṛ ityekamakṣaramabhiharantyasmai svāścānye ca ya evaṃ veda | da ityekamakṣaraṃ dadatyasmai svāścānye ca ya evaṃ veda | yamityekamakṣarameti svargaṃ lokaṃ ya evaṃ veda

Pragâpati is the heart, is this Brahman, is all this. The heart, hridaya, consists of three syllables. One syllable is hri, and to him who knows this, his own people and others bring offerings . One syllable is da, and to him who knows this, his own people and others bring gifts. One syllable is yam, and he who knows this, goes to heaven (svarga) as his world.
