sa īkṣateme nu lokā lokapālānnu sṛjā iti | so'dbhya eva puruṣaṃ samuddhṛtyāmūrcchayat
From the cosmic waters, the Self draws forth a Person (Puruṣa) — the primordial cosmic Man from whom the lokapālas (world-guardians/devas) will emerge. The image is precise: out of the formless waters, a form is 'drawn out and consolidated.'
Meaning
He thought: 'Here are the worlds; let me now create the world-guardians.' From the waters he drew out a Person and shaped him.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
