Shiva Swarodaya
शिवस्वरोदय
(Śiva Svarodaya)A 395-verse Tantric dialogue between Shiva and Parvati — the complete science of Svara Yoga, unique in the tradition for being entirely practical and predictive. 'Svarameva param jnanam' — the breath itself is the supreme knowledge. Ch.1: The three svaras (Ida/left-nostril/lunar, Pingala/right-nostril/solar, Sushumna/bilateral); the ultradian nasal cycle as real-time body-mind diagnostic; 'svarajño jīvati' — one who knows the svara truly lives. Ch.2 Tattva Viveka: detecting which of the five elements (earth/water/fire/air/ether) is active in the breath via breath shape, temperature, and duration; matching action to tattva; Sushumna as the supreme window for meditation. Ch.3 Svara Phala: svara-prashna — reading the breath at the moment of decision; health as rhythmic nasal alternation; disrupted cycle as earliest diagnostic signal. Ch.4 Mahaprana: 'svare sūryaḥ pratiṣṭhitaḥ' — the sun is established in the breath; individual breath as localised expression of the cosmic breath; macrocosm-microcosm identity.
