hiraṇmayena pātreṇa satyasyāpihitaṃ mukham | tattvaṃ pūṣannapāvṛṇu satyadharmāya dṛṣṭaye
A prayer from the dying or near-realised seeker. The 'golden disc' is the dazzling beauty of the manifest world — itself a face of Truth — which paradoxically conceals the formless Truth behind it. The seeker prays for the veil to be lifted.
Meaning
The face of Truth is hidden by a golden disc. O Pūṣan, uncover it, so that one whose dharma is truth may see.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
शोध संदर्भResearch context · not scriptureComparative Research Noteशोध टिप्पणी
A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
