na cakṣuṣā gṛhyate nāpi vācā nānyairdevaistapasā karmaṇā vā | jñānaprasādena viśuddhasattvastatastu taṃ paśyate niṣkalaṃ dhyāyamānaḥ
A precise instruction: senses, speech, tapas, works cannot grasp him. Only 'jñāna-prasāda' — the grace of knowledge — and a purified sattva, can. Plus meditation. The conditions are exacting but specific.
Meaning
He is not grasped by the eye, nor by speech, nor by the other senses; nor by tapas, nor by works. Only by the grace of knowledge — with sattva purified — does the meditator see him, the partless.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
