yadā paśyaḥ paśyate rukmavarṇaṃ kartāramīśaṃ puruṣaṃ brahmayonim | tadā vidvān puṇyapāpe vidhūya nirañjanaḥ paramaṃ sāmyamupaiti
The seer's vision: golden-colored, the maker, the Lord. The instant of vision, merit and demerit fall away — for both depend on a separate 'me' acting. With separation gone, both disappear together.
Meaning
When the seer beholds the golden-colored maker, the Lord, the Person, the womb of Brahman — then the knower, having shaken off merit and demerit, becomes spotless and attains the highest equality.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application
