yā te tanūrvāci pratiṣṭhitā yā śrotre yā ca cakṣuṣi | yā ca manasi santatā śivāṃ tāṃ kuru motkramīḥ
A prayer for Prāṇa to be gracious — to remain in the faculties of speech, hearing, sight, and mind. The prayer makes explicit that Prāṇa runs the senses; without its grace, the senses wither.

Vyakhya

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
