astītyevopalabdhavyastattvabhāvena cobhayoḥ | astītyevopalabdhasya tattvabhāvaḥ prasīdati
Two-stage knowing. First: 'He is' — bare conviction of existence. Then: the essential nature reveals itself naturally. Faith is the foundation; insight follows.
Meaning
He is to be known as 'He is' — and then, by both (existence and essence). To one who has known 'He is,' the essential nature becomes clear.
Direct literal rendering preserving Sanskrit philosophical terminology.
Vyakhya
Science & Modern Application

A modern parallel offered for reflection. It is not part of the scripture, and it has not been checked against the original sources it may allude to.
