अशरीरं शरीरेष्वनवस्थेष्ववस्थितम् ।महान्तं विभुमात्मानं मत्वा धीरो न शोचति
aśarīraṃ śarīreṣvanavastheṣvavasthitam | mahāntaṃ vibhumātmānaṃ matvā dhīro na śocati
Three contrasts: bodiless within bodies, stable within instabilities, vast within smallness. To know the Self with these contrasts seen clearly is to leave grief.
अर्थMeaning
अशरीर — परन्तु शरीरों में निवास करने वाला; अनवस्थ (नश्वर) के बीच स्थित (नित्य); महान्, विभु — ऐसे आत्मा को जानकर धीर पुरुष शोक नहीं करता।
अक्षरशः अनुवाद — मूल संस्कृत श्लोक के प्रत्येक पद का प्रत्यक्ष अर्थ।
Bodiless among bodies; stable among the unstable; great, all-pervading — knowing the Self thus, the wise one does not grieve.
